About

Over the past 45 years, I have been receiving commissions for social and commercial photography and design, mainly involving studio and location portraiture, weddings and other social events and fashion and advertising shoots. I have, at times, made regular contributions to various magazine publications.

I was a fairly early member of the ‘computer generation’ and quickly learnt to embrace many image enhancement and illustration software packages.

Combining these skills with my childhood passion for drawing, my keen interest currently lies in producing digital paintings from photographic references. The most popular subject for this work is proving to be pets.

However, most subjects are fine with me – it’s the creative aspect that appeals.
Without creativity, there is no ‘new frontiers’. Variety feeds creativity, so I intend to develop more in the field of ‘landscape’, ‘townscape’, ‘documentary’ and ‘still-life’.

What also appeals is the ‘buzz’ I get from a satisfied client, so I always aim for that ‘buzz’. Whilst I look forward to my work evolving, my work ethic shall remain the same.
